From succeeding the business to acquiring Tetley by Tata tea, Jaguar Land Rover by Tata motors and Corus by Tata steel, he has made Tata a successful global business all with his dedication and hardwork. From his childhood Ratan Tata always wished to contribute towards the nation and make India a better place. His hard-work, dedication and humbleness helped him to become a successful person.

Tata education and development trust has endowed 28-million-dollar scholarship at Cornell University for Indian students who might be in need of a financial aid.
Tata group donated 50-million-dollars for the construction of the executive center at Harvard, the estimated total cost was 100-million-dollars.
TCS the flagship company of Tata group has also given the largest ever donation to Carnegie Mellon university.
In 2014, the Tata group endowed the Indian Institute of Technology at Mumbai and formed Tata center for technology and design. They gave a donation of rupees 950 million. This is the largest ever single donation received.

Ratan Tata used to work as a blue-collar employee in Tata Steel. This was his first job. This clearly shows that how dedicated Ratan Tata is towards his work. Travelling in economy class, visiting school students, asking his driver how his day was, going to meet the families of his employees who suffered due to 26/11 and rewarding the worst idea of the year clearly shows that Ratan Tata is a true gem. He does not only focus on a luxurious and extravagant life style, Ratan Tata was willing to even travel in economy class despite being one of the biggest business-person across the globe. Going to meet school students as he had promised that he would come back to meet them again. Driving on his own if his driver is not around and even asking his driver how his day was and always sitting next to the driver. Going to meet the families of his employees who were affected during the 26/11 to provide full compensation to their families as he believed he has a responsibility towards them. Awarding the worst idea to communicate how important failure can be.
Treating street vendors like any other person because he believes that everyone deserves to be treated in the same way shows how humble Ratan Tata is. This behavior has not just made Ratan Tata a successful business-person. It has helped him to win hearts of people at every place he goes.
